People are nice. They smell funny and they are big. Often when they sit, they have food. They make a lot of noises and they like to pet Hubert on his head. Sometimes when Hubert feels itchy, he walks to a people person and they scratch him. When they scratch him wrongly, he makes them scratch him rightly, and that is wonderful! There are many things that people do that make them nice. Like scratching Hubert and petting him. But nicest of all is when they give Hubert something. Maybe a piece of cheese. Or maybe a big fat noodle. But mostly not.

Hubert is also nice. He is black and he is soft. He smells nice of fish. It always makes him hungry, but he very rarely eats fish. He likes cheese mostly, and everything else too. It is very rarely that he doesn’t like something, and it is usually an apple. They are difficult to eat. Hubert likes to trot around his garden and up the street. He never brushes noses with dogs or felines. He enjoys watching fish and biting water. He does not like to get wet. He likes to lie in the sun and then in the shadow.
